April Update!

It's been a while since we have had an update...sorry about that. Well, this month we have had a blood drive at which we had about 31 successful donations, which could end up possibly saving about 90 lives! Thanks for coming out to everyone who showed up to donate and volunteer. Also, this coming weekend we will be packing food with Feed my Starving Children.

On another note, We will continue to update the calendar on our website as the new month comes up. However, we have decided to send out invitations for volunteer projects and SPERO updates mostly through our new facebook page!
Please become a fan of our page. You won't want to miss out on opportunities to serve. The link is in the blog post below. If you do not have facebook please email us at spero.volunteer@gmail.com so we can set you up with email invites and updates.

If you had not heard, SPERO had partnered up with the existing non-profit called Next Generation Mission! This has been a wonderful opportunity for SPERO to expand our horizons, grow in numbers, and reach more potential in living out our mission and vision. SPERO now accepts tax deductible donations. So if you wish to support the volunteer work/projects and mission of SPERO please feel free to email us about making a financial donation. All checks will need to be made out to Next Generation Mission with SPERO written in the memo line.

As always, we love you guys and really appreciate your prayers, financial support, and taking time out of your busy lives to volunteer for the sake of other and spreading a little hope around in our communities and globally as well.

This month and in the coming months we will be brainstorming more ways to reach out and into our communities. So if you would like to make a suggestion or have an idea to share, we would love to hear from you!! Comment on our website or our facebook page and be thinking about how you can start incorporating volunteering and reaching out to others into your lifestyle. SPERO does not see volunteering as a once a year, feel-good event but instead as a very important part of our lifestyle and being purposeful in meeting the needs of others by showing love, hope and compassion. We challenge you to join us in adopting this new way of life!
