Spero is a community of vibrant volunteers seeking to spread the message of hope, compassion, and love to everyone we encounter. We are volunteering and partnering with established organizations who are meeting needs in the greater Phoenix area and in many countries around the world. Our biggest desires are to spark a movement of volunteerism and share hope with our community!
SPERO Meaning: In the Latin language, the word spes is the noun meaning 'hope'. Spero is a verb of spes meaning 'I hope'.
As a group of volunteers we corporately and individually hope to change lives in our community by volunteering our time, money, and talents. We truly believe investing in the lives of others allows us to share hope to those who are lost, hurting, or oppressed. A little hope, compassion, and love can change a life!
SPERO Mission: As a vibrant, benevolent community of volunteers, we are improving the world around us by purposefully investing in the lives of others and our environment through outreach, partnerships, and service.
SPERO Vision: We seek to invest in our community with humble intent and spark a movement of volunteerism by spreading hope, compassion, and just plain love for one another.
SPERO Volunteer Opportunities: SPERO is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization thanks to the partnership of Next Generation Mission in Phx, AZ. We set out to schedule our volunteer opportunities based on urgent needs in the community, through networking with charities, churches and other non-profit organizations, and word of mouth opportunities. All events are safe, secure, and provide an opportunity for enriching the lives of others as well as our own. We provide great opportunities for all ages to volunteer as well as great ideas for fundraising, service learning events and volunteer hours.
